We Can't Wait To Meet You!

The Windmill Kindergarten CIC

The Windmill Kindergarten has been part of the Burton Joyce community for over 35 years and we have welcomed hundreds of families through our doors - some of which we have seen through generations!

We are a modern thinking playgroup but like to keep traditional values with a routine that will allow growing children to thrive and blossom.

We cater for children aged 2-5 and have an ever changing selection of toys, books, and activities - Free play, role play, small world, arts and crafts, sensory, messy play etc.

We have a break from play mid-morning and afternoon to give the children some quiet time to listen to a story, have snack time and interact with each other as a group singing songs and nursery rhymes and playing games.

Our outdoor play area is bright and welcoming with astro-turf and barked areas for safety and interest. There is a small herb garden and on a hot day the tree gives us shade. Outside the children can enjoy lots of activities that enable skills, balance, coordination and imagination to develop.

Each child will have their own on-line journal which can only be accessed by you and is updated regularly so you can see your child's journey with us.

The fun and imagination is unlimited!
